HP Quality Center includes standard and customizable test coverage and quality trending reports, and options for “object-oriented test automation” (Business Process Testing) and test project management. It also integrates seamlessly with HP Functional Testing - QTP, versioning test scripts and result sets, and automatically raising defects when a test fails.

For automating functional acceptance, compatibility and regression testing, HP’s QuickTest Professional is an industry-leading solution that keeps up with Web 2.0 development technologies (java, .NET, Web Services) as well as supporting vendor-proprietary (Oracle Forms, Siebel, SAP) and legacy ones (Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Terminal Emulation).
The QTP script development interface provides wizards for “learning” your app’s objects and properties, data driving your tests, adding text, image table data and database checks, and a rich function library for deeper customized checking and conditional and looping processing logic.
